- Webster 4.9 at Bribie Island - John & Val.
Hi Kelly & Daniel,
I've been a long time getting back to you with some photo's, as promised, but better late than never. Thought you might like to see "Webby" on her home turf.
We waited a fair while to get the drive-on docking system right, it is the first they have done in Aus. for a catamaran hull, so took a while to get it right. We had to get the centre row of modules cut in half and welded, to fit the hull shape, but as you can see, it works beautifully now, and was recently featured photographically on Pontoon Solutions stand at the Brisbane Boat Show.
I am sending by snail mail their Brochure, which may be useful to you, if only for your photo board.
We regularly fish out from Bribie on Deception Bay and Pumicestone Passage, - not as much as we'd like this year, due to knee my replacement and a few other family hiccups, and have done several demo's for Col at Fisher Boats. The boat and pontoon get plenty of attention here as we are on a canal next to a main road.
Best wishes from
John & Val.
- Testimonial: Webster to the rescue - Terry Turner
Hi guys,
Just thought you'd be interested to know we plucked three people from the water yesterday in our Twinfisher when there not-so-small mono hull overturned.. They did a really tight turn in flat water and it lent over and just kept going.
Their friend following behind in a smaller mono hull tinnie couldn't pull them up over the side into his boat as it was too unstable - funny :)
We just reefed two over the side and one climbed in via the transom step.
Cheers,
Terry

- As far as fishing platforms are concerned, there are few craft that can match the stability of a power catamaran. Physics dictates that two hulls in
the water will always be more stable than one and this is why most multi-hull owners swear by their boats and wouldn't consider going back to a mono.

- Article from South Australian Angler, August-September 2004 "South Australia’s Own Fishing Magazine".
Power catamarans are truly unique craft in a number of ways. Not only do they provide an enormous
interior space to length ratio, they also deliver a soft ride and better than average rough water
handling. The Webster Twin Fisher 5.2 displays all these traits in a package that can be towed
behind the average family sedan. Read
