WEBSTERS TWINFISHER (DKSMale Pty Ltd) 5 YEAR WARRANTY

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PURCHASE OF A GREAT AUSTRALIAN BUILT PRODUCT. WE WORK VERY HARD TO BUILD AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND TO ENSURE ALL OUR CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY.

PLEASE READ THE WARRANTY BELOW, WHICH SETS OUT OUR OBLIGATIONS AND YOUR OBLIGATIONS TO ENSURE EVERYONE IS TREATED FAIRLY AND IN THE VERY UNLIKELY EVENT THAT YOU MAY NEED SOME HELP.

Websters Twinfisher - DKSMale Pty Ltd(the company) provides warranty for boats manufactured at the Webster Twinfisher Enterprises factory and is limted to repairing or replacing at the company's discreation, any part or whole products deemed by the company to be faulty in material or workmanship as follows:

In addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the product which the consumer has under the Trade Practices Act and similar State & Territory Laws. DKSMale trading as Websters Twinfisher Enterprises (WTE) warrants with respect to each new boat manufactured by WTE and sold by WTE authorised distributor that:

a. for a period of sixty (60) months from the date of original retail sale WTE will repair or replace any part of the hull structure that is considered by the company to be defective; and

b. for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of original retail sale WTE will repair or replace any part of the hull structure that is considered by the company to be defective in factory materials or workmanship under normal use and operation within Australia.

This warranty applies providing that:

  1. Has not been fitted with engine which exceeds the maximum horsepower or engine/transom weights specified by WTE.
  2. Has not been modified or altered after having been dispatched from the WTE factory.
  3. The trailer must be correctly designed and adjusted and is considered by WTE not to have contributed to any defect.
  4. Accessories, engines, trailers, electrical devices, parts and any other fittings fitted by the dealer or the purchaser and any effect they may have on the products supplied by WTE are the responsiblity of the dealer and purchaser and are specifically not covered by this warranty.
  5. This boat must be maintained and used in accordance with the Boat Capacity Plate.
  6. The boat must not be altered or operated outside the limits of the design specifications.
  7. The boat has not been damage by neglect, accident and improper use or used for competitive purposes.
  8. The warranty does not cover any consequential expenses beyond the warranty repair of the boat itself. eg freight.
  9. WTE shall not be liable for consequential loss of any kind arising out of the supply or operation of the boat.
  10. Powder coating is warranted against defect powder or application, NOT against normal effect of oxidization and degradation caused by the fuel and dissimilar metals.
  11. Paint work, carpet & upholstery is warranted for 12 months from time of manufacuture not date of purchase.
  12. Any work agreed to be repaired by Websters Twinfisher will be done ex factory & freighted costs to and from the factory will be the purchasers responsiblity.
  13. The repair or replacement is carried out by an authorised WTE dealer, WTE factory or by some other service provider approved by WTE and only after approval in writing has been given by WTE prior to repair or replacement being carried out.
  14. The claim under this warranty must be made in writing, setting out full details of the problem encountered, addressed to Websters Twinfisher Enterprises, 11 Corporation Place Orange NSW 2800.

Commercial Use

Websters Twinfisher does not warant boats used for commercially or warrant that Webster Twinfisher boats are suitable for your particular commercial application.

Websters Twinfisher recommends all persons comply with their local boating regulations and are familiar with safe boating practices.

To keep your aluminium boat in top condition:

  1. Hose down with fresh water after use
  2. Clean with a soft brush using mild detergent
  3. No salt residue from salt water to be left on or in the boat after use
  4. Boat must be stored uner cover or in the shade to ensure UV sun damage minimized
  5. Batteries must be isolated by turning off battery isolation switch when boat is stored
  6. All stainless fittings and moving parts on the boat to be lubricated & greased

It also must be noted that dealers may package boats differently with varying fit out, trailer choice, engine choice & options chocie and this will vary weights adn measurements of the product.
